So, Mom and I were talking about healthy snacks to cool off when it's hot instead of eating ice cream and she suggested I make some kind of no calorie slushy. I said, "What crushed ice and water? That's no calories." She really meant a low calories slushie, like with Crystal light or something similar. We got a good laugh about the ice and water slushy, so I thought it would be funny if I put it on here.
Here's a recipe for cooling off that actually has negative calories:
Ingredients:
bathing suit
hose
sprinkler
Combine ingredients in a large back yard for best results. Mix well.
Note: Spray nozzle may be substituted for sprinkler if using a porch or smaller yard.
Combos well with Zero Calorie Slushy.
Good ideas, girls! I'm going to combine both recipes in our FRONT yard (LOL).
Actually, I wonder if the slushy itself might not be negative calories also. It must take some calories to warm that water up inside, plus the hard work of swallowing something so cold :D.
Andrea, you're hilarious. I read that and thought, "Huh, that's interesting. Andrea's really into this health kick."
Jocelyn's recipe does sound a refreshing and tempting. Might try that out this week.
